Every plastic part PlasCity manufactures is custom, made to your exact drawing, specification, or sample. We do not stock standard profiles and resell them. We design the tooling, specify the material, produce the part, and deliver it to your quality standard.
We manufacture custom plastic parts using two processes: profile extrusion, for long continuous shapes with a consistent cross-section, and injection moulding, for three-dimensional parts with complex geometry. Our engineering team advises which process fits your part based on design, quantity, and cost.

Yes. Every custom plastic part goes through a formal sampling stage. PlasCity produces first-article samples or trial pieces for your dimensional and visual approval before any bulk production begins.
For extruded profiles, die development takes 2 to 4 weeks, then bulk production runs 2 to 3 weeks per batch. For injection moulded parts, mould development takes 3 to 8 weeks, then production runs to your schedule.
Yes. Send us a physical sample and PlasCity will reverse-engineer the geometry, identify the material compound, manufacture the tooling, and produce a matching part. This is a standard service for buyers replacing discontinued parts or switching manufacturers.
PVC (rigid, flexible, co-extruded), PP, HDPE, ABS, PC, TPE, TPR, Nylon, POM, and speciality grades including food-grade, UV-stabilised, and flame-retardant compounds.
Typical tolerances are ±0.1mm to ±0.2mm for injection moulded parts and ±0.15mm to ±0.3mm for extruded profiles, depending on wall thickness and part geometry. Tighter tolerances are discussed and confirmed during design review, before tooling is cut.
A custom part is made to your drawing or sample, one-time or repeat. OEM manufacturing is a longer-term arrangement: PlasCity signs an NDA, archives your tooling and material specification, and supplies the same part consistently over years, often under your own branding and packaging. Our production runs typically start at 3,000 metres for extrusion and 5,000 pieces for injection molding. This reflects the scale we are set up to manufacture at consistently. For specific project needs outside this range, contact us directly to discuss options.
Yes. Parts can be produced in any colour using masterbatch pigments, matched to a specific Pantone or RAL reference if you provide one.
