Nylon (Polyamide, PA6 and PA66) is the most widely used engineering plastic for mechanical components. It combines high tensile strength, excellent wear and abrasion resistance, and self-lubricating properties that reduce friction without oil or grease. PlasCity makes nylon parts by injection moulding for machinery, automotive, electrical, and OEM industrial customers.

Self-Lubricating
Nylon has inherently low friction and self-lubricating properties. Gears, bushings, bearings, and slide rails made from nylon run quietly and last longer without the need for ongoing lubrication.

High Tensile Strength
PA6 and PA66 have tensile strengths of 70–85 MPa, among the highest of any commodity engineering plastic. Structural brackets, load-bearing clips, and machine components rely on this.

Up to 120°C Service
PA66 handles continuous service to 120°C (short-term to 150°C). Engine bay components, motor parts, and parts near heat sources are frequently made from PA66 for this reason.

Wear and Abrasion Resistant
Nylon outperforms most metals in sliding and wear applications. Conveyor guides, cam followers, roller coatings, and wear pads made from nylon outlast their metal equivalents.
Good Electrical Insulator
Nylon is an effective electrical insulator at standard voltages and temperatures. Widely used for cable ties, connector housings, and insulating spacers in electrical assemblies.

Impact Resistant
Both PA6 and PA66 have excellent notched impact resistance, particularly in glass-filled grades. Parts that face shock loads or mechanical impacts perform reliably in nylon.

Send Us Your Requirement

Share a drawing, photo, physical sample, or description. We work from DWG, DXF, PDF, STEP, hand sketches, and physical samples. We will reverse-engineer and convert your sample to a CAD drawing if needed.

Material Confirmation and Quote

We confirm the correct Nylon grade for your application and send a detailed quote covering tooling cost, unit price, and lead time. Our chemical engineers can match your existing Nylon compound if required.

Tooling and Sample

We design and make your extrusion die or injection mould in-house. You receive physical samples to inspect and approve before we commit to bulk production. No bulk run starts without your sign-off.

Bulk Production and Delivery

After sample approval, we run bulk production with full QC inspection — dimensions, material, colour, and surface quality checked at every stage. Packed and delivered to your location across Pakistan or for export.
