Yes. Once tooling is established and a product is in production, PlasCity maintains the exact material compound, die specification, and process parameters to ensure consistent quality batch after batch. PlasCity archives all tooling and material specifications for the product lifetime.
For profile extrusion, die development takes 2 to 4 weeks then bulk production runs within 2 to 3 weeks per batch. For injection moulded parts, mould development takes 3 to 8 weeks, then production runs to your schedule. Once tooling is established, lead times are significantly shorter.
Yes. PlasCity supplies OEM parts with your labelling, packaging, and documentation requirements, including material certificates and test reports where required for your quality system or end customer.
In practice PlasCity treats these the same way: you supply the design and branding, PlasCity manufactures the physical product. "OEM" is more commonly used when the buyer designed the part themselves; "private label" is more common when PlasCity's existing product is rebranded under your name. Both are made under NDA with the same consistency and confidentiality standards.
Our production runs typically start at 3,000 metres for extrusion and 5,000 pieces for injection molding. This reflects the scale we are set up to manufacture at consistently. For an ongoing OEM relationship, we can also agree scheduled release quantities against a larger blanket order.
Yes. Material certificates, dimensional inspection reports, and production records are available on request, and can be issued as a standard part of every OEM shipment if required by your quality system.
